As an example of great photography, this ain’t. The flannel shirt and nearly monochromatic setting don’t really fit with “endless summer”. It was just a snapshot of a nice moment, some nice folks swaying to a good tune, and lost in their memories, with the grandson, a bit puzzled, taking it all in, so I hope this conveys just a bit of those good vibrations.
For me, it’s a vicarious enjoyment, as I drive my little hybrid car in the rainy northeast! But California is definitely on my list, and I have the soundtrack ready for a roadtrip out there! 🙂
From my perspective, it’s a perfect “endless summer” photo. The message is clear: age may take away the beach, the waves, the surf board, the bikinis — but the music and the memories are forever. Summer’s a season that can endure even in the winter of life.
I’m so pleased you liked it, and you’ve written such a nice caption for the shot. Music is important to me, and when you’re in that museum, you can see people’s memories almost literally flashing and sparking in their heads, as they hear tunes and see posters and videos of the bands in their heydays

Your pictures are amazing. You’ve caught such a feeling in this. Love it!!
Thank you 🙂
Memories of driving a little deuce coupe, hot summer sun, pristine beaches . . . good times and definitely good vibrations!

I liked the photo. As for monochromatic, the blue contrasts nicely with flannel shirt. It’s the icing on the cake.
Thank you, I’m glad you liked it.
